This is so true and yet I'm conflicted.

I am remembering what people say to me, "without a plan, how will you know where to begin, what to do, who to approach?" basically the 4 Ws and 1 H of unplanned lifestyles.

What are goals, targets, if not culminations of plans? Is it good to NOT have one or are we saying let's not have super long term ones?

Of course, you should have goals. That's what keeps us going. But goals can change and evolve as you dig deeper, as you talk to more people, as you reflect. Be open to that. That's the whole idea. For example, my goal today could be to churn out great content for my newsletter every single week. But my newsletter can evolve in the next five years. I don't know where I'll be five years from now. It could become a video interview series in five years. Who knows?
