What truly embodies a place is its food. And I've eaten a lot of good food in my country and abroad. I have a long way to go on my culinary journey. So, come along for the ride!
Ooooooh and Ewwww at the same time! But would you say it's an acquired taste? Like you need to have a few and then you might like it. And what about you? Did you want o have more?
But I'm just as curious to try it now.
I have a feeling your blog is gonna be my Go-To, the personal Trip Advisor!
I don't think it's an acquired taste. For some reason, the saltiness and the creaminess of the cream cheese blends pretty well with the bitter-sweetness of the tea. And if the tea is flavored, then it's a sweet-salty combo. I definitely felt like having more! It's quite addictive. Interestingly, you get this in Mumbai now. I only hope the place hasn't shut down in the pandemic. I don't remember the name, but if you look it up, you should be able to find it.
Interesting! I tried butter tea when I was in Bhutan and had a similar experience! It adds a delicious salty / creamy touch so I can imagine cheese tea being similar. Also I guess at the end of the day it is just another source of dairy you're adding to it, right! (like milk or cream!) Also totally relate with having to find the local foods / restaurants wherever I am going. It's the best way to travel :)
